Winemaking

This wine is made from Macabeu grapes grown on old, bush-trained vines. Sourced from a single plot, the vineyard is located at the foot of Montperdut, near the Valleta road.

It was in the small village of Valleta that our grandfather purchased five large casks—each with a capacity of 25 *càrregues* (approximately 3,000 liters)—in 1961; we have replicated one of them to age this wine.
