Winemaking

This wine is a selection of Red Grenache grapes from a single plot: the Pont vineyard. Characterized by extremely stony soil, the vines grow in river pebbles along the banks of the Anyet riber, at the Albera mountains.

The wine was made in a concrete vat built by our grandfather at Can Carreras—the farmhouse our family has owned and managed since the 14th century.

Following vinification, the wine rested on its lees for nine months in that same underground concrete vat.
